What is an EdCamp?

  • An EdCamp is professional development created and hosted by the attendees.
  • Consider your best practices in using Moodle. What do you want to learn about? What do you want to learn “HOW To” do in Moodle?
  • Indicate what you can share with others and what you would like to learn.
  • Sharing might be leading an informal discussion, sharing ideas, it does not mean you are presenting a formal topic for an hour. Sharing will be accomplished by using the application sharing in Blackboard Collaborate
  • We will develop a schedule for the day
  • For the virtual EdCamp the schedule will be determined by March 7, 2014, based on registrations. The schedule and links will be posted by March 11. After March 7 registrants are welcome to join right up to March 14 based on the posted schedule.
  • There is no cost to register for the virtual EdCamp.
